Course Description: This training offers an in-depth look at ethical dilemmas that often arise throughout the practice of EMDR therapy. This training is specifically directed towards the EMDR treatment modality, as many ethical decisions occur spontaneously throughout the work with a client. Clinicians should be well informed and always prepared to manage ethical situations as they arise. Throughout this training, we will look at various topics such as boundaries, managing trauma and safe resourcing, dissociation, mandated reporting, and working with other clinicians.

Content / Learning Objectives:
- Participants will identify and apply knowledge of ethical issues specific to EMDR Therapy in the context of in-person and telehealth treatment.
- Participants will review and analyze various topics where ethical dilemmas occur and compare general ethical issues in psychotherapy to ethical issues in EMDR treatment.
- Participants will recognize ethical dilemmas by discussing case examples.

Gina Rossetti
LCSW-C, EMDRIA Approved Consultant
Gina Rossetti, LCSW-C and EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist, is an integrative trauma therapist and clinical social worker who has over 10 years of experience working with adults, youth, and families.
In her practice, she uses a trauma-informed and attachment focused perspective and has training and experience in EMDR, body-centered psychotherapy, mindfulness, parts work, cognitive-behavioral approaches, sand tray, and expressive art techniques.
Gina has a particular interest in supporting women around complex trauma, relationship challenges, as well as systemic, intersectional women’s issues.
Nina Davey
LCPC, ATR-BC, PMH-C, ACS, EMDRIA Approved Consultant
Nina Davey is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a Registered, Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and holds a certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). Nina has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
Nina is a Certified EMDR Therapist and an Approved EMDR Consultant. She uses a variety of treatment modalities through a trauma-informed perspective, including Art Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), EMDR, and Sand Tray Therapy.
Nina has extensive training in trauma (PTSD) and childhood abuse and has a particular interest working with women’s issues around Perinatal and Postpartum support. Nina is an Approved Credentialed Supervisor (ACS) for LGPC clinicians as well as an Approved Supervisor for Art Therapists.
