Course Description

Join Nina and Stacy as they chat about what it’s really like inside their EMDR sessions. EMDR Therapists know the protocol, but in this series Nina and Stacy break it down into real-life stories and examples.

This is a 6-month OnDemand course, with new videos and materials released every 2 weeks.

Learning Objectives

  1. Participants will describe how to have an effective EMDR session utilizing the 8-phase AIP Model.
  2. Participants will recognize the challenges of treating complex trauma and conceptualize treatment planning through the EMDR lens.
  3. Participants will choose which method of treatment planning best suits the client’s presenting problem.
  4. Participants will recognize a variety of resources to utilize throughout their work with clients while maintaining fidelity to the EMDR AIP Model.
  5. Participants will identify creative interventions for effective EMDR treatment.

Additional Information

  • This workshop is intended for licensed mental health therapists who have completed an EMDRIA approved basic training. Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate. 
  • Prerequisite for EMDRIA CEUs: Participants must have completed an EMDRIA Approved Basic training in EMDR (both Part I and Part II)
  • Certificates are awarded online after completion of the workshop - Participants print their own certificate after registering at ce-classes.com, entering a keycode, and completing an evaluation form.
  • Licensed Professionals should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval
  • There is no known commercial support for this program.

Stacy Stoddard, LCMFT

Stacy is a trauma-informed therapist with specialized training in treating trauma-related disorders and facilitating healing journeys for survivors. As an EMDRIA Approved EMDR Trainer and Consultant, Stacy is committed to training and mentoring other mental health professionals in this highly effective trauma therapy modality.

Stacy is the owner of The Counseling Center, a respected counseling practice serving individuals, couples, and families in the community. She is also the owner of Therapist Education Institute, where she provides continuing education and professional development opportunities for mental health professionals.

Nina Davey, LCPC, ATR-BC, PMH-C, ACS


Nina is a Certified EMDR Therapist and an Approved EMDR Consultant. She uses a variety of treatment modalities through a trauma-informed perspective, including Art Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), EMDR, and Sand Tray Therapy. Nina works with those going through a traumatic experience (childhood or recent trauma), challenges related to depression and anxiety, sexual abuse, life transitions, self-esteem and stress management.

Nina has extensive training in trauma (PTSD) and childhood abuse and has a particular interest working with women’s issues around Perinatal and Postpartum support. Nina is an Approved Credentialed Supervisor (ACS) for LGPC clinicians as well as an Approved Supervisor for Art Therapists.
