This five-hour training offers an in-depth look at creative techniques and the effectiveness of integrating art experientials and EMDR.
EMDR Therapists often look for effective ways to utilize EMDR therapy when working with clients experiencing complex symptoms. Integrating creative techniques throughout the 8 phases of EMDR can provide a sense of safety and support to clients ranging from children, adolescents, and adults.
Creative intervention creates a space for clients to express thoughts and emotions through a non-threatening modality. Paired with EMDR, clients are presented a way to process complex trauma with the option of non-verbal communication through art.

- This workshop is intended for Mental Health Counselors, Social Workers, Psychologists, Art Therapists, Expressive Therapists who have completed an EMDRIA Approved Basic training in EMDR (both Part I and Part II). **No previous art background necessary.
- Prerequisite for EMDRIA Credits: Participants must have completed an EMDRIA Approved Basic training in EMDR (both Part I and Part II)
- Certificates are awarded online after completion of the workshop - Participants print their own certificate after registering at ce-classes.com, entering a keycode, and completing an evaluation form.
- Licensed Professionals should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval

Nina Davey
LCPC, ATR-BC, PMH-C, ACS, EMDRIA Approved Consultant
Nina Davey is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a Registered, Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and holds a certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). Nina has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
Nina is a Certified EMDR Therapist and an Approved EMDR Consultant. She uses a variety of treatment modalities through a trauma-informed perspective, including Art Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), EMDR, and Sand Tray Therapy.
Nina has extensive training in trauma (PTSD) and childhood abuse and has a particular interest working with women’s issues around Perinatal and Postpartum support. Nina is an Approved Credentialed Supervisor (ACS) for LGPC clinicians as well as an Approved Supervisor for Art Therapists.
