Course Description:

This three-hour training explores ways supervisors and consultants can work with supervisees and consultees in creative and engaging ways. Creative strategies can support supervision by increasing insight, capacity for case conceptualization, and ability to use attunement skills with clients. During this training, clinicians will review common challenges in supervision and recognize the benefits of using expressive techniques in their work as supervisors. Clinicians will also identify a variety of techniques that can be used in supervision to promote growth and support.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify a series of specific creative techniques and directives to support and enhance supervision.
  2. Demonstrate a variety of creative supervision techniques by engaging in creative art experientials and mindfulness exercises.
  3. Recognize ways creative modalities can help supervisors address common challenges that occur in supervision.

Gina Rossetti, LCSW-C, is an integrative trauma therapist and clinical social worker who has over 10 years of experience working with adults, youth, and families.

In her practice, she uses a trauma-informed and attachment focused perspective and has training and experience in EMDR, body-centered psychotherapy, mindfulness, parts work, cognitive-behavioral approaches, sand tray, and expressive art techniques.

Gina has a particular interest in supporting women around complex trauma, relationship challenges, as well as systemic, intersectional women’s issues.


Nina Davey

LCPC, ATR-BC, PMH-C, ACS

Nina Davey is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a Registered, Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and holds a certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). Nina has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.

Nina uses a variety of treatment modalities through a trauma-informed perspective, including Art Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), EMDR, and Sand Tray Therapy.

Nina has extensive training in trauma (PTSD) and childhood abuse and has a particular interest working with women’s issues around Perinatal and Postpartum support. Nina is an Approved Credentialed Supervisor (ACS) for LGPC clinicians as well as an Approved Supervisor for Art Therapists.
